杭州叫农民go佬，为何叫go佬？go是不是和瓜(ko)相关？农民有种瓜。

well, actually 'melon's pronounced as "gua" in hangchow dialect, just identical with its counterpart in madarin.

但这个词可能用的是杭州未官化前的音或郊区的音
